In 2023, 2024, and 2025, I have organized the Wassaic Community Quilting Workshop at the firehouse in Wassaic, NY. The event is free and open to the public thanks to various grants and invites friends, neighbors, and the quilt curious to come and make a quilt square to contribute to a communal quilt made by many hands. Raffle tickets are then sold to win the finished quilt with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Wassaic Fire Company.
