Wassaic Community Quilting Workshop November 15, 2025
Join us for our 3rd annual free afternoon of sewing with Wassaic Project residency and exhibition alum Natalie Baxter.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to design, cut, and piece a quilt square using a sewing machine. All materials and tools are provided, and experienced quilters will be on hand to help. Together, we will create a community quilt stitched by many hands that will be displayed at the Wassaic Project and later raffled off to benefit the Wassaic Fire Company.
This year, we’re adding a potluck social. Stick around after you’ve made your square to share food, connect with neighbors, and celebrate our creative community.
This project is made possible with funds from the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
